GilmoreCreations began in 2008 as a dream of my hobby becoming a livelihood. I have been involved in all sorts of various craft venues for most all of my life. I started as a very young girl working on my own projects along side my mom as she tried new and varied craft projects. I learned how to sew in grade school, create ceramic pieces from clay in Jr. High, needlepoint in High School and have continued learning new crafts and techniques ever since!
I grew up in a small town in New York State, moved to Baltimore, Maryland after college and have lived in Barrington, Rhode Island (just outside of Providence) for over 16 years with my family. I thoroughly enjoy living here and seem to be drawn to the rejuvenating qualities of the ocean and coastal towns. I have a positive outlook on life and find ways to look for the good in everything. I’m always open to new ideas and love anything that is whimsical, fanciful, colorful and fun!
I have a lot of fun working on all of my various products and creating new designs - each item is unique and seems to take on a personality of its own! I consider creating my own personal form of expression and derive a great deal of joy in the process involved with each item. I am always trying out new ideas and I love that I never know what direction my next project will take me!
